Costessey quadruple death update as police launch investigation after ignored 999 call before father, wife and children aged 7 and 12 are found dead

Police investigating a quadruple fatality have launched an investigation after four people – including two little girls – were found dead after a 999 call was ignored.

The bodies of Bartlomiej Kuczynski45, his daughters Jasmin, 12, and Downreuang, 7, were tragically found in a CostesseyFriday at home in Norwich.

Norfolk Police had before self-referred to the Independent Office of Police Conduct (IOPC) about the deaths.

Now the force has announced they will also review their practices after it was revealed they were couldn't respond to a 999 call on Friday.

It is believed the call, made by Mr Kuczynski, was made from the home just before 6am.

Finally the police arrived just after 7.15am after another call from a member of the public concerned for the family's welfare.

Norfolk Police Chief Paul Sanford said in a statement on Monday: “It is only right that if there are any questions about our response, they are investigated appropriately, and I fully support and welcome this investigation.

“I will not wait for the outcome of this investigation to review our practices and that process has begun.

“Today I have asked the Inspectorate to consider a more in-depth investigation than the robust inspection already planned, to provide the reassurance that the public and I need in our response to emergency calls.”

Norfolk Police also referred themselves to the watchdog for attending the home on December 14 in connection with a missing person enquiry.

According to reports, Mr. Kuczynski was the person who went missing last month MailOnline.

The woman who was found dead next to her two nieces and brother-in-law in the house has now also been named by her best friend.

Kanticha afternoonThe 36-year-old was traveling from Thailand to her sister's home when she was discovered with stab wounds on Friday.

It is confirmed that she and Mr Kuczynski died of stab wounds to the neck.

According to Kanticha's best friend Naty Wathanakul, the children's mother was working as a caregiver when the four were found.

Police said Saturday they were not looking for anyone else in connection with the investigation.

Post-mortem examinations of the two girls will be carried out on Wednesday.

A collection of floral tributes and two unicorn toys were left a short distance from the house in Costessey, near Norwich, on Monday.

The items were left behind while the house was taped off by police.

One tribute read: 'Jasmine, you were such a sweet, caring girl, you and your sister didn't deserve to have your life taken.

“You always smiled in primary school. Fly high, pretty girls.”

Another said: “You will be missed. I'm sorry for whoever was in the family experiencing it. Sorry Jasmin.”
