An aircraft landed nose-forward with nearly 100 passengers on board after its landing gear failed as it prepared to land.
Delta Flight 1092, a Boeing 717, took off from Atlanta at 7:25 a.m. and was due to land at Charlotte Douglas International Airport Wednesday morning.
Shocking footage shows the plane leaning forward on its nose as dozens of emergency services rush to help passengers and crew members.
Miraculously, none of the 96 passengers or five Delta employees were injured in the incident.
The aircraft managed to land with the nose gear in the ‘up’ position and come to a safe stop on the runway.

In a statement, Delta said, “Nothing is more important than the safety of our customers and people.
While this is a rare occurrence, Delta flight crews train extensively to safely get through many scenarios and Flight 1092 landed safely with no reported injuries.
“Our next focus is to look after our customers on this flight, including collecting their luggage and getting it safely to their final destination. We apologize to our customers for what they have experienced.”
