An aesthetic doctor’s assistant revealed her way to get baby-smooth skin by using diaper cream on her face.
She said to forget the days of using Vaseline because even though her method is unorthodox, it works.
TikToker Eleni Sgantzos (@injectoreleni) said there is no reason to suffer from dry skin in winter.
“Zinc oxide-based creams heal that barrier like a charm,” she wrote.
“Yes, it’s messy,” she continued. “Yes, it doesn’t matter to me either, because the results speak for themselves.”
Eleni said she “forgot” to use petroleum jelly or aquaphor for slugging, a technique in which an occlusive product is rubbed onto the skin overnight, per Cerave.
“Yes, I put diaper cream on my face and yes, you should too,” Eleni said.
“We will be using a zinc oxide-based cream to heal and repair the skin and to moisturize,” she said.
Eleni used a moisturizing mask on her skin before using the diaper cream for snails.
“Instead of applying Vaseline or Aquaphor, I just put this on my face,” she said.

“You can get it anywhere,” the cosmetic injector continued. “Put it over your eyelids, under your eyelids, over your lips, and don’t forget your hands.”
Eleni said it would take some time for it to fully rub in.
“You’re going to rub it like crazy for a few minutes, but it’s so worth it for that smooth baby skin in the morning,” she said.
The PA said it would be worth it in the end.
“Remember, the uglier you go to sleep, the more beautiful you wake up,” she said.
People in the comments section said the method works.
“As a girl with a history of horrible cystic acne and current hormonal acne/blemishes, this is legit and really works,” one person said.
“Every mother of an eczema baby knows this trick. It works,” wrote a second.
“Diaper rash cream is great for acne. Works so well. Plus I’m a side sleeper and it doesn’t ruin my bedding,” said a third.
