Dorit Kemsley reveals Kyle Richards’ ‘manipulative’ text message

Todd Williamson/Bravo (2)In an excerpt from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion episode, Dorit Kemsley is exposing Kyle Richards’ long, ‘manipulative’ text to her.
“There are things going on with Kyle and me and it hurts me the most,” Dorit, 47, said. Erika Jayne in a video shared by Bravo on Friday, February 23. “I haven’t heard from her in a few months. Then she texted me yesterday, trying to shut me up. It was so manipulative, it was so calculated.”
The text message, which appears on screen, begins with Kyle admitting that she’s been “trying to reach out” because it “bothers” her that they’re in a “weird place.”
“Of course some interview comments hurt my feelings and created more problems for me, but I’m used to that and was able to get past it in time,” Kyle wrote, adding that she “reminded herself” that Dorit didn’t know where she was going. on with her estranged husband Mauricio Umanski at the time. (The pair have been divorced since October 2023 after 27 years of marriage.)
Kyle went on to say that she loves Dorit’s husband PK Kemsley and her children, Jagger and Phoenix, and doesn’t want to lose anyone else in it [her] life during a TV show.”
“They don’t even know we’re going through a rough time, so I don’t see the need to bring it up there,” Kyle noted, explaining why she didn’t bring up their tension on an episode of RHOBH. “I should have said something earlier, but honestly I wasn’t strong enough. But relationships and YOU are more important to me then RHOBH.”
Kyle concluded her message by asking Dorit if she wanted to sit down and talk, adding that she’s not sure how much longer she can stay on the line. RHOBH for.
“It’s so toxic and causes me so much anxiety,” Kyle explained.
After Dorit reads the text, she asks how Erika, 52, would feel if she received the same text message, and she agreed that she would “feel manipulated.”

Dorit then says “fair’s fair” when it comes to the reunion and she has no problem discussing her and Kyle’s issues on air.
Things seemed to escalate for the couple after an interview Kyle did in January 2024, in which she shared that she felt like Dorit was exaggerating their friendship.
“This shouldn’t be dark [but] we’ve only been on a trip together as a couple once that I can remember, Moe, PK, Dorit and I,” Kyle said on Amazon Live, referring to Dorit’s comments from a RHOBH where she claimed that she and Kyle took several trips together. “We did Vegas together, that’s true, and we did London at the same time, but that was just overkill.”
Kyle noted that while she loves Dorit, they’re just not super close, explaining, “It’s not like, you know, my friends, we go to the gym, we work out together, we walk together.” She doesn’t do things like that.”
