WHILE the cost of gaming is rising, we are fortunate that every now and then there are some games that are completely free.

The Epic Games Store gives away a free game every week, and this time it's a highly rated puzzle game.

Doors: Paradox is usually worth £12 and gets a great 9/10 on Steam.

There's only a limited time in which you can grab it, so you'll have to rush to get it before it's gone.

The blurb reads: “Doors: Paradox is a relaxing diorama puzzle escape game set in a rich world full of magic, head-scratching and over 5 hours of fun!

“You'll be joined by the excellent time travel guide Zula, who takes you through an unexplored portal into… a cozy forest, and then a fertile desert oasis, and then the future!?

“Wherever you go, the task is simple: solve the puzzles, open the door and travel to the next exciting location – don't get lost, the place is vast and full of ancient secrets.”

Doors: Paradox is available until Thursday February 2, 2024, after which it will be replaced by two more free games.

Next week there is a particularly good deal with the Doki Doki Literature Club Plus with 89 reviews.

You can obtain Doors: Paradox from the store page on the Epic Games Store website or via the Epic Games Store Launcher.

The launcher is free to download and required to play your games, so it's worth picking it up.
