They doubted its authenticity and said it was just a dupe of the real thing.

But for $23, she thought it was worth it and took it home anyway.

Msfili (@msfili) was happy to spot some designer gold at her thrift store.

She’s in great form when it comes to digging out vintage classics during her thrift shopping forays.

With a good eye for a designer item, she has managed to hit the fashion jackpot time and time again.

She shares her “amazing thrift store finds” with her 31,000 followers on TikTok.

In this aftershe focused directly on the bags, and one red bag in particular.

“As I was going through the purses at the thrift store, I noticed a pattern that I know,” she said.

As far as she was concerned, it had all the hallmarks of a French fashion house.

“It’s a Lady Dior for only $30,” she wrote.

“I inspected it closely and there was a tag on the zipper and the label was on the inside,” she added.

“It’s patent leather and the back of the zippers are marked Christian Dior.”

But viewers of her post were quick to correct her on two points.

“I have a Lady Dior and it’s a fake Lady Dior bag,” one person insisted.

“You can tell it’s fake because a real Dior doesn’t have a zipper,” said a second.

“Gold hardware is a recent style and should not have a zipper,” a third added.

Regardless, she was still happy with her purchase.

“I really love the color of the ox blood. But for $23, I thought it was worth picking up,” she said.

“Whether I could have verified it on the spot or not, I still love it,” was her passing shot.
