Simon Cowell, Kylie Minogue, Robbie Williams and Sheryl Crow have already been tapped to manage their own music video channels on the platform.

But there will now be an additional ten channels available to stream directly from TV sets.

LG Smart TVs are the first to receive them via LG Channels, with others to follow soon.

The selection includes Hot Right Now with the latest music videos from the world’s biggest stars, as well as the best music videos of all time.

But one that could be really fun among friends for a drunken night is music video karaoke with scrolling lyrics to sing along to.

The service’s catalog contains about 100 million music videos.

A number of internet-based channels have emerged in recent years – and some have even decided to ditch traditional broadcasting and go digital-only.

And in a few weeks, a brand new British TV service from the makers of Freeview will also be launched, which relies on broadband.

News of ROXi’s expansion will come as welcome relief to music TV fans after Channel 4 announced its Box music channels will close this year.

However, one retro music channel brand has made a comeback on Sky this month – get a taste in the video below.

“We believe consumers deserve the best music experience made for TV, which is why we’re making ROXi’s curated music video channels available for free to millions of FAST users,” said Rob Lewis, CEO of ROXi.

A new channel will be launched in March
