A gaming-mad boy has unveiled his ingenious creation after turning cardboard into a Nintendo Game Boy console.

A video of the young boy proudly displaying his creation in Venezuela subsequently stunned fans around the world resurfaced on Twitter this week, after it was originally posted on Instagram.

The clip shows the creative child playing on his cardboard Game Boy, with Super Mario Bros being his favorite game.

He demonstrated how it works by scrolling through the level with one hand, where obstacles were drawn by hand on paper.

Meanwhile, he used his other hand to move Mario up and down, aiming to jump over green pipes, gaps and stairs, just like in the real game.

Fans were quick to praise the innovative creation and insisted that Nintendo supply the inventor with a real Game Boy.

One viewer wrote, “Nintendo better buy this kid a real one!”, to which a second replied, “Nintendo better hire this kid!”
