“It was such a random thing. It was actually scar tissue from when I had an appendectomy at age 18,” she explained as to what was causing her pain. So, Happy New Year! I think I’m leaving today, it’s been since Wednesday morning, and I get to go home to my dog, and I’m really excited.”

The fitness instructor concluded, “I just wanted to say, here I am, and here I am leaving soon.”

Fhima was Turner’s runner-up on The Golden Bachelor. He finally decided to get down on one knee and proposed to Theresa Nist, whom he would marry on January 4.

Earlier this month, Turner and Nist opened up about their plans to tie the knot, just a few weeks after getting engaged.

‘If you’re in your twenties and you put something off for a year, that’s a very small percentage of your life. When you’re in your 70s, the clock ticks faster,” he told People.

The retired restauranteur, whose wife Toni died unexpectedly in 2017, then added that he was “100% sure I had found the right girl for me.” So it’s like, why not?’

Nist then discussed her excitement at the prospect of marrying Turner, who she described as “the man of my dreams.”

She noted; “It wasn’t our original timeline, but to get the wedding of our dreams? Spectacular, incredible, wow!’

The reality TV personality’s fiancée was previously married to a childhood sweetheart named Billy, whom she tied the knot with in an impromptu wedding ceremony in 1972.

Turner then stated that his intention was for his fiancée to enjoy the planning process of their upcoming wedding ceremony.

“Since she was given a rush job the first time, I wanted her to enjoy all the anticipation and joy… it doesn’t sound like she’s being cheated on,” he said.

Nist added that she had a feeling her upcoming wedding ceremony was “going to be incredible.”

The reality TV personality went on to say that, like his fiancée, he was primarily concerned about each other’s well-being.

‘We don’t talk about careers. We don’t worry about how we’re going to pay the bills. We talk about what we’re going to do to have fun… everything is different. The level of excitement is different,” he said.

Nist then noted that while “there are serious moments, we laugh so much together.”

Turner’s fiancé concluded the interview by saying that while their respective experiences with loss brought them closer together “initially,” they had since learned to focus on their future as a married couple.

‘That was the basis that formed a band, but it is certainly not that. It’s about how much we care about each other. It’s very natural,” she said.
