ANDROID users may never have to waste their time in a phone queue again thanks to an ingenious new feature Google is working on.
The tech giant is reportedly testing a new 'Talk to a Live Representative' feature that will allow the company's software to do everything on your behalf.
That means the software calls a company for you, navigates through the options, waits on hold, and then notifies you when there's a real human on the other end to talk to.
The feature was first spotted by X (formerly Twitter) user Sterling who said the feature was very similar to an existing Google Pixel feature called “Hold for Me”.
But instead of being enabled once you're put on hold, like “Put on hold for me,” “Talk to a Live Representative” gives you the ability to actually call a business on your behalf.
It will also be available for all non-Pixel Android devices, including Samsung.
Not all companies are supported, but several airlines, carriers, retailers and other companies are.

It will be available to iPhone users via the Google app.
It is not accessible via the phone app.
It is only available when you search for a company's customer support number in Chrome or Safari.
Once you click on the number, the 'Request a Call' button will appear – only if the company supports the feature.

Supported companies include a selection of US airlines, network companies, retailers, insurance and other services.
Then you select the reason for your call, and Google will do its magic and give you text updates on the progress.
“Not all companies are supported, but several airlines, carriers, retailers and other companies are,” says popular Android leaker Mishaal Rahman wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
It is unclear when the feature will arrive on all Android handsets as it is still experimental.
As 9to5Google notes, for now it's only available in the US through the Google app on iOS and Android, as well as the Chrome desktop.
