Holly Willoughby has revealed that her mother-in-law Sandra has passed away.

The This Morning presenter, 42, took to Instagram on Saturday to pay tribute to her husband Dan Baldwin’s mother following her passing, praising her for her “guidance, advice and bottomless prosecco.”

She shared a radiant selfie of them raising a glass together and wrote, “Good night Sandra… Nonna, mother, sister, friend… To know her was to know the power itself…

‘After losing her husband she raised four children, then she lost a son and more recently her sister… Thank you for your guidance, advice and bottomless Prosecco.

“Thank you for raising the incredible man I married…I see your strength every day in our children…Be at peace…Love you.”

Many of Holly’s friends shared their condolences and Vanessa Feltz wrote, “I’m so terribly sorry to hear that Sandra passed away.

“I had such a memorable conversation with her. She radiated wisdom, kindness and warmth. Sending you love, Dan and the whole family.’

Nicole Appleton wrote, “Ahh honey. Sending you all so much love. Sandra was just great.’

Kate Thornton added: ‘Beautiful words for a truly beautiful and remarkable woman. I’m so sorry she’s not with you anymore. My deepest condolences.’

Holly’s This Morning co-star Craig Doyle said, “I’m so sorry for your loss Holly. Condolences to Dan and all the family.’

It comes just a day after Holly’s brand Wylde Moon posted about ‘intense emotions’ and ‘moving forward’ during the ITV investigation into Phillip Schofield’s affair.

Holly has turned down the drama since her return to host the breakfast show last month with a rotation of co-presenters following Phillip’s departure.

And on Monday, Wylde Moon shared a cryptic post about ‘merging all thoughts and emotions’ during the ITV inquiry into Phillip’s departure.

Phillip resigned from ITV after admitting to having an affair with a much younger male colleague This Morning in an ‘ill-advised but not illegal’ relationship.

In an Instagram post shared Monday, Holly’s brand Wylde Moon wrote about the first supermoon of 2023 and how it can bring “clarity” to “intense emotions.”

It reads: Today’s full “buck” moon is the first supermoon of 2023. Since the moon in Capricorn opposes the sun in Cancer, it encourages you to put all your thoughts and emotions together.

This alignment suggests that intense emotions can provide clarity and reveal the necessary actions you need to move forward. Listen, learn, love.’

The brand added in a caption, “The July full moon is known as the buck moon because it is when male deer, also known as bucks, grow their antlers to their fullest and majestic.

“It’s a time when goats shed their old antlers and sprout new ones, growing bigger and more impressive every year.”

Phillip resigned from ITV after admitting to having an affair with a much younger male This Morning colleague.

Since Schofield’s resignation, This Morning has been plagued with ‘toxicity’ accusations, including from the show’s former family doctor, Dr.

It comes after the Mail On Sunday revealed that a senior Loose Women manager had emailed ITV’s top bosses to express “serious concerns” about the welfare of the young man who had been having an affair with Phillip.

ITV chiefs told MPs last month they were unaware of concerns over the production assistant, who worked on This Morning during their relationship with Phillip.

But The Mail on Sunday revealed that sources at the channel believe bosses, including entertainment general manager Kevin Lygo, were aware of an email outlining concerns over the man’s well-being.

The email warned that ITV had a duty of care towards him as a vulnerable worker. Sources close to Mr Lygo say he has ‘no recollection’ of it. No formal investigation has been launched.

There was no mention of this correspondence during a hearing of a select committee of the House of Commons, where Mr Lygo and ITV chief executive Dame Carolyn McCall were questioned about the scandal last month.
