Horror for vegan college students as two posh guys parade the body of headless deer through campus

VEGAN students were shocked when two posh boys paraded the body of a headless young deer through a university campus.

Officials are now investigating after having to provide urgent support to those upset by the incident.

The pair bought the Bambi-like one animal like deer meat from a game dealer.

They carried it through the University of Exeter campus and in student houses where mainly first-year students stay.

Photos obtained by The Sun show the headless deer hanging over the back of one of the students, both wearing expensive waxed jackets.

Another student uploaded a photo to an online University forum, writing: “I didn't think decapitated animals count as a late night snack.”

A source said: “There are many students who are very angry about what has happened and they are afraid they will get away with it. These were fancy guys who thought they were smart.

“The university is investigating it. Everyone thinks they can get away with it because they are chic.

“They were clearly proud of themselves. They paraded it around on their shoulders. It was really sickening.”

A spokesperson for the University of Exeter said: “We learned that two students had purchased a dead deer as venison from a game dealer and brought it onto campus to their home town.

“We have investigated the incident, spoken to the students involved and provided support to students who raised their concerns.

“We have not completed every aspect of the investigation so we will not be commenting further at this stage.”

The RSPCA said it was “investigating what allegedly happened.”
