One woman revealed how she dropped out of school at age 20 and made $3 million in six months.

Inayah McMillan, now 21, of St. Louis, Missouri, attacked her YouTube channel to share her story and offer advice to others who want to do the same.

The nine-minute video, which has been viewed nearly 900,000 times, is titled, “How I Made $3 Million in 6 Months as a 20 Year Old Female Entrepreneur.”

In the clip, she explained that she initially tried different ways to make money, including e-commerce, dropshipping, and stock trading, but eventually found the right fit for her with Airbnb.

She said, ‘I started out renting, I didn’t actually own any property. I now have 11 Airbnbs that I rent out.

“It taught me how to do rent arbitration, and I didn’t really understand it at first. But I learned as I went and I went through the mistakes, the learning curves, I found out what worked and what didn’t work.

“That’s when everyone started to see that this 20-year-old girl is making five figures a month and making $40,000, $50,000, $60,000 a month through Airbnb.”

Soon many people started asking her to teach them how she achieved her incredible success.

She and her partner Bryson then decided to start a coaching business to help other people in this field.

She said, “We were making up to $60,000 in a month with Airbnb and then we started getting students who were getting results. So we started a whole coaching program. I was even able to hire much of my family to work with me to continue to scale this coaching business.”

Inayah was so confident in her business that she even told her brother that she doesn’t think he needs to go to college because she will be so successful.

In October, Inayah and her partner made their first million dollars from their business and it has continued to grow.

Inayah McMillan, now 21, of St. Louis, Missouri, revealed how she dropped out of school at age 20 and made $3 million in six months

“In June 2022 I made $100,000, which was my first six-figure month,” she said.

“Then I said to my brother, ‘I’m going to make $200,000 this month.’ In July we made over $200,000. Our revenue continued to grow as we started to make more and more impact for more people.

“In October, me and Bryson were like, ‘We’re going to make a million dollars this month,’ and in October we made a million dollars.

“We made a million dollars in November. At the end of the year we generated more than three million dollars with our Airbnbs and also with our coaching.”

She continued, “The deliberate actions, the positive mindset, and actually living what you say you’re going to do — that’s how we made three million dollars.”

One of the lessons she learned from this is that if you have money, you don’t become a different person. Instead, you get ‘more freedom’ and ‘more opportunities’.

However, Inayah’s entrepreneurial journey was not always smooth as she also described her trials and tribulations in the clip.

She revealed that she never “fitted in” at school, even though she was an honors student, she didn’t have many friends.

She said, “It was kind of hard fitting in: I’m black, I’m Hispanic, I’m Muslim.”

When she was 16, she lived with her brother Jamil in their father’s house and remembered him handing her a book called How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

He told her it would help her “get successful” and she even remembered seeing a whiteboard in his room that read “I’ll be a millionaire by 22.”

She said, “In my head I thought, ‘Where did he come up with that? We’ve never seen a millionaire in our lives.”

“Money was never something we grew up with, it was never something we were familiar with. My family has not had much money in any way.”

After her eldest brother died, she said it changed her “entire outlook on life.”

At the end of her freshman year in college, she managed to secure an interview with a “high-profile family” to become a nanny.

She said the role was the perfect opportunity to learn firsthand from a “billionaire” who has “the lifestyle I want.”

They said, ‘So at the end of freshman year I remember we were finishing classes and I listened to these tapes and they said that people who are successful make decisions quickly and stick to those decisions.

“I decided then and there, I said, ‘I’m going to finish school, I’m going to quit.'”

Then Inayah decided to turn her own life around and started reading books, watching YouTube videos and teaching themselves new skills.
