Bihar News: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday launched a scathing attack on his former ally and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during the party’s mega ‘Jan Vishwas Rally’ in the capital Patna. Addressing the massive gathering, Tejashwi recited a few lines from a popular Hrithik Roshan song starring ‘Koi… Mil Gaya’ while criticizing the JD(U) chief for his frequent U-turns in politics.

“Idhar chala main udhar chala, arre fisal gaya,” Tejashwi said while referring to “Chacha (uncle)” Nitish Kumar, amid loud cheers from the crowd of supporters who gathered at Patna’s Gandhi Maidan.

The former deputy chief minister of Bihar also reiterated his earlier belief that Kumar’s Janata Dal (United) will be ready by 2024.

“JD(U) ka koi bhavishya nahin hai (JDU has no future),” Yadav claimed as the crowd cheered in affirmation.

The Bihar government should take out the insurance

Continuing his attack on Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi asked about the BJP, which always touts ‘Modi ki Guarantee’. can take assurance from Bihar CM.

Yadav quipped that the Bihar government should take out insurance policies as it faces the risk of JD(U) supremo making repeated U-turns.

“They are calling us for nepotism, but they have Samrat Choudhary, brother of Ram Vilas Paswan, son of Manjhi ji has become a minister, it does not look like nepotism to them. Due to Nitish Kumar’s turnaround, it seems like the state government will have to get its insurance done. They say Modi ki guarantee, but who will take Nitish Kumar’s guarantee,” Yadav said a day after Prime Minister Modi accused the Congress-RJD of cronyism.

BJP serves ‘gobar’ in the guise of ‘halwa’

The RJD leader alleged that the BJP are “such big liars” that they serve “gobar (dung)” and present it as “gajar ka halwa (sweet dish)”.

Nitish does not support improved employment in Bihar

Tejashwi also challenged Kumar on his claim of being responsible for creating employment in Bihar.

“You all know that uncle (Nitish Kumar) has turned away, but may he remain happy wherever he is. From whom did you first hear about 10 lakh jobs? We respect and honor Nitish Kumar because he is our uncle, but he has posters put up in Patna saying that work means Nitish Kumar,” he added.

“This is the same Nitish Kumar when we had promised jobs, he had asked where we would get them. During our tenure, we did the caste census, increased the reservation limit to 75 percent and increased the reservation limit for extremely backward people by 24 percent. We have done the work in Bihar that has not been done in the country since Independence,” Tejashwi Yadav said.
