I’m A Celebrity has been hit by claims of a resolution after Frankie Dettori left the show over Nella Rose on Sunday night’s first live eviction.

Ant and Dec broke the news of the year’s first eviction, with the camp appearing to be shocked that the jockey, 52, left the jungle after having the fewest public votes alongside YouTuber Nella, 26.

After the announcement was made, Frankie said goodbye to his campmates, with politician Nigel Farage saying: ‘It’s a solution, Frankie. You were the last in, the first out.”

Echoing the sentiment, Twitter was quickly flooded with outrage from viewers, who claimed the results needed to be “fixed” or “rigged” due to the fact that Nella, who was at odds with campmates and divided fans, was favorite to win to leave.

‘Nella stayed because of all the attention the shows get because of nella..shame on you I’m a celebrity… One reason I’m a celebrity @imacelebrity is a FIX…

‘Nella…Nigel even said it’s a solution that we all know deep down that Nella should be out. It all starts on the Facebook page of I’m a celeb 2023, the viewers are p**sed #NigeltoWin… The show is completely rigged. Frankie had no airtime at all…

‘Nella says ‘This is process 8’ when it was announced she would be doing ‘Fright at the museum’. I don’t think so, in three of them she shouted ‘I’m a celebrity…’. She’s not a heroine, but certain campmates have her on a pedestal…

‘I didn’t notice Frankie, but why wasn’t Nella there? #ImaCeleb #ImACelebrity…

However, others refuted the claims, writing: ‘I think Nella stayed in because I’MAC has a younger fan base, a lot of people under 30 know who Nella is but don’t necessarily know who Frankie was.’

The turmoil on Twitter comes after Frankie revealed who has his money’s worth to be crowned the 2023 winner of the jungle. The horse racing legend appeared on Good Morning Britain just hours later to discuss his short stint.

Speaking about his predictions for the show’s winner, Frankie revealed he thinks Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson will walk away victorious.

He said: “I’d say I’m betting on Sam. He brings a lot to the table. He’s entertaining, he’s crazy, he sings, he’s happy. I think people will like it…

‘That’s the winner for me. Sometimes I wish he had the pause button right, because I talk a lot, but he talks non-stop’.

Frankie shed light on being the first Jungle star as he admitted he predicted his exit because of the show’s major characters.

As well as Sam, he named Nigel, Tony Bellew, Marvin Humes and Josie Gibson as the stars who would captivate viewers.

He said: ‘[Being evicted] was a bittersweet moment…

‘I wanted to go to the final, but with characters like Sam, Nigel, Tony, Marvin and Josie. I would never win it. So actually, the thought of spending another week there might be a little difficult for me. So it was bittersweet…

“The nice thing is I got to go out and meet my lovely wife and spend some time on the Gold Coast waiting for my other campmates to come out.”

Speaking about his relationship with controversial signing Nigel, he revealed: ‘I met Nigel before I went into the jungle. He’s a character who’s larger than life… He’s interesting and knowledgeable. He has a good laugh…

‘I’ve never been able to talk to him about politics because it doesn’t interest me. He is always fun as a person one on one.’

To gain some insight into life in the jungle, he was asked about the drama between First Dates star Fred Sirieix and Josie, after the former revoked her camp chef status in favor of the latter – who has been outspoken about her lack of cooking skills.

Frankie said, “I swear to God I didn’t get involved. But there was a bit of a changing of the guard as the dynamics of the show changed…

‘When Fred was taken out of the kitchen and Josie went in, it was a mutual clash. Two different chefs in one kitchen. One said A, the other said B. But in the end we all got to eat.”
