I’m the world’s tallest FARMER – I have hands like spades and am 7ft tall…that equates to my daily 10 pints of milk
The world’s tallest farmer with hands like spades and a whopping seven feet tall attributes his growth to drinking 10 pints of milk a day.
Sukhdev Singh is a bit of one celebrity in his hometown Fatehgarh Sahib India.
The 36-year-old is believed to be the tallest man in the state of Punjab, home to an estimated 31 million people.
The gigantic man towers over people at an impressive height of 2.80 meters in a country where the average height for a man is 1.80 meters.
Sukhdev also weighs 29 pounds and must wear size 25 shoes.
Growing up, he always stood out from the crowd, surpassing the height of his peers at a young age.
The farmer says his unusual growth spurt is down to a daily intake of ten pints of milk.
Although he believes his tall height is “gifted by God”, it also comes with disadvantages.
Sukhdev cannot walk into a shop to pick out an outfit, but has to order it to be specially sewn by a tailor.
Custom-made garments can also be a costly expense, as each tunic requires as much as nine yards of fabric.
Shoes are another thing that the man struggles with because he has to buy custom-made shoes for his 17-inch long feet.
Apart from dressing, the farmer encounters problems when he wants to use any form of transport.
Sukhdev is too big to fit on a bus or car as his head would likely stick out or hit the ceiling.
The man is forced to choose a motorcycle to get from place to place, which he makes look incredibly small next one to him.
But the disadvantages of being too tall are mitigated by the fame and attention Sukhdev enjoys.
He became a local celebrity and people often stopped him on the street get it a selfie.
Some even travel from far away to take a photo with the giant man.
