Indore: India defeated Afghanistan in the first-ever T20I white-ball series by taking a 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series. It was Shivam Dube's magic knock that helped India win both the T20Is. In the second T20I, the all-rounder hit bowlers all over the ground and played an unbeaten knock of 63 runs off 32 balls.

After India's win, Dube Rohit Sharma opened up and revealed that he is happy with his knock. The all-rounder also revealed his role in the team and how he worked on his skills to handle pressure situations.

The skipper is very happy with my performance, he said I played well. (About Jaiswal) We are both stroke players, we know our game. My role was to take on the spinners, but our plan was to both attack and finish the game early. There was no goal in mind, but we should have ended the game earlier. There are a lot of things I have been working on, besides skills it is about how you mentally prepare for the T20 game. How to deal with pressure and decide which bowlers to face. It is not important to hit every ball. I've also been working on my bowling, glad it worked in the first game, but not so well today. But that's how T20 cricket is.
