Inside the world's most environmentally friendly 25 meter electric superyacht that can sail SILENTly… but is still the ultimate party spot
A LUXURY 90ft electric superyacht dubbed 'the most environmentally friendly in the world' has been unveiled.
The Sialia 80 Explorer will blow other boats out of the water with its ability to travel around the world complete silencepowered by the most modern electric propellers.
Hailed as Bluebird Yachts'most advanced ship yet', it is made entirely of high-quality marine-type aluminum.
The slick ship is 30 meters long and 27 meters wide and travels at a speed of 11 knots over a range of over 5,400 miles using two 400 kW electric motors.
It was built for twelve passengers – with four guest cabins and two crew berths.
The Sialia 80 features a master bedroom with direct water access, a multi-level open deck and ultra-low-energy glass door display systems to give the interior a light and airy feel.
And underneath the boat is a new AMPROS propulsion system for constant, quiet sailing electric cruising.
The ship was developed in collaboration with designer and naval architect Vripack and is built to last its entire lifespan with very little maintenance.
Stanislav Szadkowski, co-founder and CEO of Sialia Yachts, said: “While eco-friendly yachts are still a niche, progress towards cleaner technologies is inevitable.”
It is designed to “thrive in a variety of environmental conditions, and travel to some of the world's most remote locations silently and with minimal impact on the environment.”
She added: “This design ensures calm and quiet operation, giving the owner a peaceful and undisturbed onboard experience.”
It comes as a loving husband gave a gift to his wife £37 million 150ft superyacht as a Valentine's Day gift.
The incredible ship, named “Kiss”, was custom built as a romantic gesture.
The wild gift follows the revelation of designs for a man-made floating private island modeled on Monaco.
The massive 500-foot megayacht will have a race track, helipad, swimming pools and a mini submarine on board.
F1 fans will be able to experience a thrill on a scaled down version of the famous one Grand Prix circuit in which three karts can be placed next to each other.
Meanwhile, the the world's fastest superyacht made a splash since it was built in 2014 – and is now worth a whopping £39 million.
The beautiful 50-meter high palace by the sea is called Alamshar – after the famous racehorse – and has several luxurious decks trimmed in gold.
