James Argent shows off his slimmed down figure in neon yellow top and black shorts in Essex

He proudly shows off the results of his 14 stone weight loss.

And James Argent continued to show off his slim frame as he stepped out on Monday to run errands with his mother, Patricia.

The former TOWIE star, 35, looked extremely sporty in a neon yellow T-shirt and black shorts as he walked the streets of Essex.

Arg, who lost more than 14 stones after life-saving gastric sleeve surgery, was in high spirits as he spent some quality time with his mother.

He paired his look with a pair of black sneakers and had his phone and keys in hand.

Last month, James spoke about his battle with drug addiction and admitted, “I battled it for years.”

The former The Only Way Is Essex star recalled the troubled memories of his troubled past, but insisted he was now clean, sober and in a much better place.

He continued to tell Nana Akua GB News: ‘I struggled with that for a number of years. But I got through it and I’m fine. I am fine. I’m clean, sober, and I’ve been for a long time.’

James also spoke candidly about his struggle with his weight, which increased during the coronavirus lockdown before opting for a gastric sleeve.

He said, “I actually didn’t really have a good routine and structure and definitely used food to balance that out when I wanted comfort. Being locked up was not easy for me.

“You know some people really started their workout and trained at home, while other people really struggled.”

Revealing how his relationship with food has evolved over the years, he continued, “I had a bad relationship with food. I wouldn’t exercise at all and binge or I’d starve myself and work out three times a day.

“I was morbidly obese or slim. I was yo-yoing constantly.

‘I now have a great relationship with food and exercise and I’ve found the balance well. I am proud of what I have achieved.’

He revealed how professional boxer Tyson Fury was his inspiration, saying, “Not all stories have to end in tragedy. Some people can turn things around.

“I was heavily inspired by Tyson Fury. He’s a friend of mine. He is one who struggled.

He managed to turn his life around and become world champion. That’s the ultimate comeback story. He is great.’

James said he enjoyed his current job – working as a wedding singer with his group, The Arg Band.

He said, “I’ve always wanted to be a wedding singer.

“When people ask me what I do now, I don’t say reality TV star, I say wedding singer.”

James is now linked to girlfriend Stella Turian, with whom he recently took a trip to Venice, Italy.

The beauty is not only genetically blessed, but is also fluent in four languages, while the TOWIE star has been working hard on improving his Italian.

Despite only meeting once in Mykonos last summer, they spent the summer texting and FaceTiming.

Arg recalled how he finally mustered up the courage to fly to Italy in September 2022 to see her and see if there was any romance to be had.

The TOWIE star confessed that she was “incredibly nervous” for fear there wouldn’t be a romantic connection when they saw each other again.

But thankfully, the second their eyes met again, he gushed about how they felt “a great link” that continued to develop.
