The Paris The apartment where both Andrew and Brunel met Epstein has now been sold by Epstein’s estate to a Bulgarian investor for £8.2 million – £2 million less than the asking price.
The new owner is Bulgarian plastic packaging magnate Georgi Tuchev, who bought it in a deal from high-end agents Sotheby’s International for a sum of £360,000.
Lawyers working for JEP – a company founded by Epstein – with its headquarters listed at the property’s address on chic Avenue Foch, brokered the sale.
A Parisian source involved in the sale told The Sun: “It is alleged that some of the money of the proceeds will ultimately be used to compensate victims of Epstein’s sex ring.
“It is clear that the history of the building did not help in the sales process and it sold for significantly less than the asking price.
“The dark past must have something to do with that, as well as the fact that the building has been considered a monument for a long time crime scene.
“Epstein’s ma’am Ghislaine Maxwell And Prince Andreas were also guests there – what happened within these walls is an important part of the story.”
The Duke of York was told by Epstein to treat the second-floor apartment “as his own” – and most of his stay took place after his host was convicted of abusing young women in 2008.
Andrew’s 62-year-old boyfriend Maxwell – Epstein’s longtime British girlfriend is currently serving 20 years for sex trafficking in a US prison – was also a regular guest.
a French judicial investigation into his activities was opened in August 2019, when prosecutors heard allegations that Brunel and Andrew had both abused Guiffre.
Brunel’s lawyers claim “major dysfunctions” of the rule of law have occurred, and demanded an “administrative investigation” into the scandal.

He was charged by French authorities after allegedly supplying a string of young girls to Epstein’s global underage sex ring using his connections to modeling agencies.
One of the accusations allegedly concerns the flying of three underage sisters from a residential area in Paris to America to be abused by Epstein as a ‘birthday present’.
Giuffre claimed she had sexual relations with Brunel “on multiple occasions” between the ages of 16 and 19, according to legal documents filed with the court. US and France.
Giuffre’s lawsuit also alleged several sexual encounters with Andrew in the early 2000s, when she was trafficked to him by American financier Epstein.
Like Andrew, Brunel denied any wrongdoing – and like Epstein, Brunel was found dead in a jail cell awaiting criminal trial.
