Jimmy Barnes has plenty to celebrate this holiday season.
The Australian icon, 67, recently underwent open heart surgery and was released from hospital in time for Christmas.
The Working Class Man hitmaker took to Instagram on Boxing Day to share his latest health update with his adoring followers, alongside two images.
The first photo shows Jimmy smiling from ear to ear with two of his grandchildren in front of a freshly baked cake.
In another image, the legendary rocker is seen grinning in front of an epic trifle decorated with berries, kiwis and more.

He captioned the cheerful frames with some heartfelt words.
“Boxing Day is one of the best days of the silly season,” he began.
“Leftover turkey turned into a pie might be tastier than the day before,” he continued.
‘I also get a second little something, I can’t compete with that… the cricket was a bit slow today, but so am I.’
Jimmy informed his followers earlier this month that he underwent open heart surgery after a bacterial infection spread to his heart.
After the procedure, the Scottish-born Australian took to Instagram to let his followers know that he is healthy, happy and likely to make a full recovery.
Late last month, Jimmy was forced to cancel his headlining performance at the Rock the Boat cruise festival in Noumea, New Caledonia, after being hospitalized with bacterial pneumonia.

However, Jimmy later confirmed that his upcoming shows will likely be halted after doctors discovered his infection had spread.
