Jon Seda teases Antonio Dawson's return to the One Chicago Universe
Jon Seda would love it as his lover Chicago police. character, Antonio Dawson, could soon be hiding in plain sight and having “a pizza in the background” of a scene.
“It's always with me,” Seda, 53, said We weekly exclusively while promoting the final season of his current series, La Brea. “It was a great time working on shows in Chicago. It was an incredible, amazing cast.”
The actor said people still recognize him as Antonio even though he hasn't been part of the One Chicago universe since 2019.
“That whole universe is incredible. It was so unique,” he remembers. “But it was so unique and to be a part of it from the beginning was really something special.”

Although there are no plans for Antonio to make his Chicago police back, Seda hasn't completely ruled it out.
“Antonio did not die,” he told Us coyly. “He is still alive.”
Now, however, Seda is focusing on NBC's final season La Brea in which he has played the role of Dr. since 2021. Sam Velez plays.
“It's bittersweet. It's such a fun show. I really enjoyed working on it,” Seda said La Brea. “There aren't many shows on TV where families can get together and watch together. So there is something for everyone.”
The actor noted that he was “satisfied” reading the final season scripts. There are only six episodes in the show's third and final season — which premiered on January 9 — but Seda teased that the writers “did a fantastic job” wrapping everything up for viewers.
“Over there [are] There are a lot of unanswered questions that I know the fans want answered,” he said. “I think they will be satisfied.”

'You'll be surprised. This season is full of a lot of things… there's romance, there's drama, babies,” Seda teased, noting that the show will mainly focus on finding Natalie Zea's character Eve after she was “sucked through a portal” during the season 2 finale. “We're trying to find her and answers will come.”
New episodes of La Brea premieres on NBC Tuesday at 9pm ET.
