Two teenagers were charged with resisting arrest and “weapon-related” offenses in connection with a shooting that left one person dead and nearly two dozen others injured during a Super Bowl victory celebration in Kansas City, Missouri, authorities said Friday.

Additional charges are expected to be filed, according to a spokeswoman for the Office of the Juvenile Officer in Jackson County, Missouri. The teens, who have not been publicly identified, remained in custody Friday.

Authorities have said the shooting was the result of a dispute between several people and broke out Wednesday afternoon outside the city's Union Station, where thousands of Kansas City football fans had gathered for a rally.

Twenty-two people were injured, and at least half of them were under the age of 16, officials said. Most of the injured were hit by gunfire.

The person who was killed was identified as Elizabeth Galvan, 43, a local radio show host, also known as Lisa Lopez-Galvan.
