Kate Middleton mastered dress-down chic in her favorite Barbour wax jacket while visiting a charity supporting dads
The Princess of Wales showed her love for sustainable clothing on Wednesday when she joined an organization supporting fathers in north London.
Kate, 41, looked effortlessly chic during a ‘Dad Walk’ for her ongoing Shaping Us project, opting for a very familiar ensemble.
The mother-of-three opted for a £650 Erdem ‘Lotus’ striped cashmere jumper, £270 Mother Denim ‘Dazzler’ jeans and £198 Reiss ‘Thea’ boots – the latter the only new addition to her wardrobe.
Kate dressed for the fall weather and completed her look with her beloved Barbour + ALEXACHUNG ‘Edith’ khaki waxed jacket.
This is the fourth time the royal has been photographed in the £379 jacket since its debut in 2020.

It’s made from glossy waxed cotton and features the brand’s signature details, including a hidden two-way zipper and a soft corduroy collar.
The durable design also includes a classic plaid lining.
Kate first wore this jacket in November 2020, during a video revealing the results of an Early Years study.
She was giving a keynote speech at an online forum organized by The Royal Foundation, as she announced the findings of the UK’s largest ever study of the early years.
The royal combined her timeless jacket with a relaxed white sweater and set of earrings for €79 from Spells of Love.
Online, the design was described as ‘combining the label’s practical country clothing with the hustle and bustle of the city’.
Alexa Chung launched the collection with the popular British label in June 2019 and said at the time that the line was inspired by Princess Margaret.
The model-designer, who is known for her quirky and self-described “grandma” style, said she had been wearing Barbour jackets since childhood and received her first hand-me-down at the age of five.

This was not the first time that the princess wore an item from the outdoor jacket brand’s Alexa Chung collection.
Earlier that year she stepped out in a shirt from the Barbour + ALEXACHUNG range while visiting a local farm in County Meath.
In March 2021, Kate was seen laying daffodils from Kensington Palace during an emotional visit to Sarah Everard’s wake in Clapham Common.
Kate preferred not to attract too much attention and opted for a simple outfit, combining her Barbour jacket with a turtleneck, jeans and boots.
An aide said Kate ‘wanted to pay her respects to the family and to Sarah’ and could clearly remember ‘what it was like walking around London at night before she got married’.

A week before the coronation, the royal couple made a two-day visit to the South Wales Valleys and Mid Wales.
They started their journey by meeting up with the Central Beacons Mountain Rescue Team for an action-packed day out.
The duo were later seen collecting pizza from Little Dragon Pizza Van outside Dowlais Rugby Club in Merthyr Tydfil. The club is a popular place for the rescue team to socialize and relax when they are not on duty.
William and Kate, who had traded their hiking gear for casual outfits and donned the jacket from Alexa Chung’s Barbour collection, spent time with the climbers.
