The Princess of Wales made quite an entrance in a slick promo video for the Shaping Us National Symposium taking place today.

Kate, 41, who will be speaking at the event taking place at the Design Museum in London, can be seen gliding towards the entrance to the stage as her £630 Gianvito Rossi heels click dramatically against the floor.

The silhouette of the royal family, dressed in a stylish burgundy suit, contrasts stylishly with the white walls around her as she prepares for her keynote speech.

The short clip, shared to the Prince and Princess of Wales’s X account, is also peppered with footage of the preparations taking place ahead of the event.

Kate opted for an effortlessly elegant, business-savvy ensemble worth £1,940.02.

The princess wore one of her favorite looks: a €750 maroon Roland Mouret blazer paired with matching €450 wide-leg trousers.

Adding a touch of brightness, the mother-of-three wore a £119 white shirt bodysuit from Holland Cooper Clothing.

As an accessory, she opted for £72 pearl earrings from Shyla.

Kate styled her voluminous brunette locks with a blowout, keeping her makeup chic and simple with dark eyeliner and pink lipstick.

“Tomorrow we’re hosting the #ShapingUs National Symposium,” the video’s caption read.

“For the first time, we will bring together interdisciplinary leaders, child and adult specialists and global thinkers to reflect on how we grow, think and behave across the lifespan to build resilience for the future.”

In addition to hearing from the Princess of Wales, the symposium will also feature lectures from Professor Jack Shonkoff, director of the Center on the Developing Child at Harvard; Sara Rajeswaran, Chief of Staff at Aviva and Professor Robert Waldinger, Director of the Harvard Study of Adult Development.

The multimedia campaign is part of a major campaign by the Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood, founded by the Princess in June 2021, to raise awareness of how our early years shape our lives.

It will take at least five years and is described by a spokesperson for Kensington Palace as the princess’s ‘life’s work’.

Earlier this year, the Princess spoke passionately about the campaign in an open letter published in the Mail on Sunday, setting out her plan for Shaping Us.

She wrote the impassioned plea on her laptop as she prepared to launch the campaign, which begins with a week-long publicity blitz including Monday night’s event at BAFTA.

Reports from the Early Childhood Center have shown that the first five years determine future well-being more than any other stage of development, with our brains growing faster than at any other stage.

It also hopes to ‘break the cycle’ of parents who have had difficult childhoods themselves.

Palace officials say the idea for the project started before Kate became a mother.
