Prince William was spotted putting a comforting arm around his wife Kate during a reception at Buckingham Palace this afternoon.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, who rarely make public displays of affection, couldn’t resist getting cozy after Kate let her hair down at the royal residence.

The couple appeared in love at the lavish reception hosting President Yoon Suk Yeol and First Lady Kim Keon Hee of South Korea in London.

William was seen placing his hand on his wife’s lower back and Kate returned the sweet gesture by placing her hand on her husband’s back before holding his hand.

The royal couple, who looked relaxed, walked hand in hand through the room full of dignitaries.

Kate, who wore her hair in a sleek bun under a Jane Taylor hat earlier in the day, let her brunette locks loose and they fell in loose curls past her shoulders as she cut a more relaxed figure.

The princess looked chic in a £3,000 red cap coat made by Catherine Walker and shoes by Gianvito Rossi.

To add even more glam to the look, Kate wore a pair of oval sapphire and diamond earrings from Princess Diana.

The royal family has worn a similar coat dress on many occasions, including at her Christmas Carol concert at Westminster Abbey in 2021. She wore a black version of the same dress to Prince Philip’s funeral.

The shoes are also a big favorite of Kate’s – she owns the heels in at least six colours.

Earlier in the day, Kate and William traveled with Mr Yoon and Ms Kim to a ceremonial welcome at the Horse Guards Parade, where the King and Queen were waiting.

Charles and Camilla took their seats at the royal pavilion around midday and briefly greeted Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, Foreign Secretary Lord David Cameron, Home Secretary James Cleverly and the Defense Chiefs of Staff.

Camilla wore a blue dress and coat from Anna Valentine, a hat with loose feathers from Philip Treacy and a sapphire and diamond brooch that belonged to Queen Mary.
