Lindsay Lohan is having a baby boy! Within her pregnancy

Lindsay Lohan couldn’t be more excited to welcome her and her husband Bader Shammasbaby boy into the world.

“Her pregnancy went smoothly and wonderfully,” a source tells us exclusively Us weekly on Friday, June 30. While the couple – who tied the knot in July 2022 after nearly a year of dating – are expecting a son, the insider noted that the gender of their child doesn’t matter: “As long as the baby is healthy, that’s her number one priority. ”

Having a large family is something 36-year-old Lohan “definitely wants” in the future, as the source notes. “She’s always said she wants three or four kids.”

The parents-to-be have already “discussed baby names,” the insider says Us, and the couple keeps a list and there are family suggestions. However, one thing set in stone is their son’s last name.

“Lindsay is traditional and it’s even more exciting because she now has an even stronger bond with her husband because their son will carry his last name,” the source shares.

The Mean girls star is “so happy and emotional in an exciting way” during her pregnancy, according to the insider. She’s ready for motherhood. It has always been a dream for her. She feels that being a mother will make her a better actress, businesswoman and wife.”

The source continues, “It has been an emotional journey for her in such a good way. She is so happy with it and overcomes moments in her life that she has always wanted. It is a huge achievement and she is so excited about it.”

The actress is already decorating her son’s nursery and compiling a baby registry. “She wants authentic, genuine gifts,” the insider says Us. “It’s not about brand names, it’s about thoughtful gifts.”

Not only does Shammas, also 36, support his wife during her pregnancy, Dinah LohanLindsay’s mom, is also there for her daughter every step of the way. “Dina is leaving soon to help Lindsay with the baby, to support her and keep things calm,” the insider shared.

Earlier this year, a source revealed that Lindsay’s pregnancy has “really brought her family closer together.” The insider told exclusively YOUit’s in March,”Michael [Lohan] and Dina do very well together. They’ve wanted this for Lindsay for so long. (Michael and Dina, who split in 2005 after two decades of marriage, also share children Michael Jr., 35, Aliana, 29, and Cody, 27.)

Lindsay announced she was pregnant with her and Shammas’ first child on March 14. “We are very excited about the arrival of our new family member and we look forward to this next chapter of our lives!” let the actress know in a statement Us at the time. A month later, the Fall for Christmas star celebrated her pregnancy with friends and family at a low-key baby shower in New York City.

“She’s rarely in town for long, so friends and family wanted to celebrate,” an exclusive source told me Us about Lindsay’s party. “It was very private — just a handful of close friends and family brunching in honor of Lindsay’s pregnancy.”

The source further noted that Lindsay and Shammas – who currently live in Dubai – also enjoyed a “special dinner” with her family during their trip. “During the short trip to New York, she also spent some quality time shopping with her siblings for baby clothes and cool and stylish maternity wear,” the insider added.
