Louis Tomlinson ‘cultivates close ex Eleanor Calder after short affair with Danish model’: ‘They are attracted to each other again and again’

Louis Tomlinson is reportedly back in touch with on-off girlfriend of five years, Eleanor Calder, following their split in January 2023.

The One Direction singer, 32, enjoyed a brief romance with Danish model Sofie Nyvang last February but is now said to have ‘pulled back’ to his ex.

Eleanor, who also works as a model, and Louis have had an on/off relationship since the start of his career in 2011, but announced their temporary separation in March 2015 only to rekindle things two years later.

A source said The mirror: ‘Louis and Eleanor have a long history together, and those bonds run very deep for both of them. They didn’t speak for a long time after their divorce, and with Louis having a relationship with Sofie, but now they’re talking again.

Before adding, “No matter what, they always seem to be drawn together.”

Louis introduced son Freddie to fans on Instagram shortly after his birth, but has kept him out of the spotlight in recent times, while Briana has shared glimpses of him on Instagram.

Eleanor and Louis reunited in January 2017, shortly after the tragic death of his mother Johannah Deakin at the age of 43.

In 2020, the singer even spoke about his plans to marry the model after previously “ruining things.”

When he addressed the engagement rumors, he said, “Yes, I have seen some of that [engagement rumours]. That’s not true, but the luxury of Eleanor is that I’ve known her since before our first single What Makes You Beautiful, so she’s felt the whole growth of everything.”

Asked about marriage, he added: “One day, yes, I would imagine that. If you ask me if I’m going to marry her? Yes, I think so! And more children, I would say.’

Speaking to The Sun, Louis admitted he has messed up many times in the past, but he hopes he has learned from his mistakes.

Louis said of his song Walls: “It’s a bit like, ‘Oh no, I screwed up, yeah. But I have understood that now and I have come back stronger.”
