New Delhi: Like Rajasthan Royals, Lucknow Super Giants have managed to retain the core of their squad. The KL Rahul-led side has just released four players and traded one player – Devdutt Paddikal from Rajasthan Royals in exchange for Avesh Khan. LSG has retained no fewer than 19 players. LSG made their IPL debut in 2022 and have made the play-offs in both seasons so far. Ahead of the auction, LSG reshuffled team management, with Justin Langer replacing Andy Flower as coach. They have also had mentor Gautam Gambhir join KKR. West Indian cricketer Romario Shepherd has also been traded to Mumbai Indians.
