Queen Letizia stepped out today looking typically chic as she attended a work event in Toledo, Spain.

The 51-year-old queen of style wowed onlookers in a patterned blazer and fitted trousers as she presided over the inauguration of Residence Hospital del Rey in Toledo.

The mother-of-two, who attended the event with her husband King Felipe of Spain, cut an elegant figure in the cozy monochrome look.

Appropriately dressed for the seasonal weather, the chunky blazer featured a black checked design on a dazzling white background.

The jacket helped create a sophisticated theme for the monarch as it featured a cinched waist and stylish chunky center buttons.

For her hair, the queen wore her signature dark brown locks with a side parting and straightened style, which fell neatly behind her shoulders.

Her perfect makeup included just a touch of bronzer, a natural glossy lip and a touch of black mascara.

Meanwhile, King Felipe looked exceptionally friendly in a navy blue pinstripe suit and bright sky blue shirt.

He completed the look with a stylish deep red tie and matching leather buckle loafers, while his left hand appeared to be wrapped in a black bandage.

The king was depicted parading alongside his wife as both monarchs entered the hall.

Once inside the event, the Queen was pictured presiding over the event, while also making sure all attendees were greeted.

The news comes as the royal couple accompanied their daughter Princess Leonor to the solemn opening of the 15th parliamentary term in the Spanish parliament in Madrid on Wednesday.

The 18-year-old heir to the throne stylishly showcased in an emerald green gown with a flowing skirt and elegant sleeves, which she paired with a tan coat and matching heels.

She wore medals around her neck, while she added a touch of glitter to her ensemble with a pair of dainty gold earrings.

Leonor completed her look with a matching coffee-colored clutch bag and added a touch of glamorous makeup to her features.

The monarch seemed very involved in the event and made sure to greet everyone present
