His memorial ceremony was held along with some of his family members and co-stars of ‘Friendson October 3 in Los Angeles at Forest Lawn Church of the Hills. David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney Cox, Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow arrived dressed in black.

Jennifer Aniston took Matthew Perry’s death “very badly” as she was still grieving her late father, John Aniston, an 89-year-old who passed away in November 2022, and was still getting over the loss. “Of the other five, Jen and Courtney are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one struggling the most. It is a second major loss in less than a year, while the one-year anniversary of her father’s death is approaching. She’s still not fully on board with that, and now this has just completely thrown her off,” a source told Page Six.

Matthew Perry appeared to have drowned and died at his home in Los Angeles. Law enforcement sources report that no narcotics or evidence of foul play were discovered at the location. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office, we are still awaiting the findings of a toxicology report.

The cast of FRIENDS has already issued a statement in unison about the death of Matthew Perry. In a statement to ABC News, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc honored their late co-star. The statement read: “We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just castmates. We are a family. There is so much to say, but right now we are going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss.”

“We will say more in due course, as soon as we are able to do so. For now, our thoughts and love are with Matty’s family, his friends and all who loved him around the world,” the statement concluded.
