An example of this is Vikram Singh Ivane, an inspector with the Ujjain Police in Madhya Pradesh who, despite his hectic schedule, has managed to build and maintain a physique that can put any professional bodybuilder and Bollywood star to shame.

Passion for fitness

Inspector Vikram Singh Ivane has a passion for keeping fit and combines his police job and fitness schedule to perfection. Vikram Singh starts his day with yoga and goes to the gym in the evening, making sure to spend at least an hour daily on his workout routine.

Singh has a huge following on social media and is nothing short of a celebrity in Ujjain where he fights crime and maintains law and order on a daily basis. The bodybuilder cop is certainly a celebrity in his own right, especially among the youngsters, who idolize him and draw inspiration from his dedication to fitness and his policing duties.

Meet Vikram Singh Ivane

Vikram Singh’s father was a veteran of the Indian Army and a local wrestling champion and the buff agent credits him for inspiring and guiding towards a fitness-oriented lifestyle. “I’ve been going to the gym since I was a school kid, never taking a break and always finding ways to squeeze a workout time into my daily schedule,” Singh said.

Vikram believes that doing strength training and physical exercises not only improves one’s physical fitness but also keeps a person mentally healthy and fresh. “That one hour in the gym helps you release all the frustrations of your daily grind and relieve stress. It is as much an exercise for your mind as it is for your body, almost cathartic,” he says.

However, being on the force and following a strict gym regimen isn’t the easiest thing in the world. “The biggest challenge for me is finding time for my workout at the gym, as policing is a 24×7 job,” says Vikram, adding that on days when he can’t find time, despite his best efforts, he does with some light exercise before going to bed.

Vikram’s diet

The police officer believes that to keep fit, especially if you want to build a heavily muscled body, you should follow a proper diet plan to go along with the workout schedule. About an hour before training, Vikram eats some Brussels sprouts, eggs, and veggies, followed by a pre-workout protein shake. “I also follow the same feeding routine in the afternoon and pay more attention to maintaining optimal protein levels during the night, so I have a protein shake before bed,” reveals Vikram.

Who is Vikram Singh Ivane?

Vikram Singh Ivane, 33, was born in Betul, Madhya Pradesh in 1990 and is currently a Superintendent at Nagjhiri Police Station in the Ujjain district of the state. Vikram’s father, Phule Singh Ivane, was an army veteran and a local wrestling champion while his mother’s name is Leela Devi.

Vikram lives with his 55-year-old mother, wife and two daughters: 7-year-old Amyra and Kiansha (1). The police officer says he has been training his daughter Amyra since she was 6 and hopes she will become a sportswoman and represent India at the international level.

Vikram Singh Ivane was appointed as a sub-inspector in the Madhya Pradesh Police after cracking the state police recruitment exam in 2012. department ranks and was promoted to responsible station rank in 2021.

Vikram describes himself as an outgoing person who enjoys traveling and meeting new people. When on leave, Vikram likes to take long walks and enjoy nature as he believes that a healthy mind is the key to fitness and a prerequisite for having a healthy body.
