A bride-to-be slipped seconds after saying “Yes!” in a romantic waterfall proposal – but took over the unfortunate moment.

In one clip, filmed at the Friar Waterfall in Ceara, Brazil, Fabricio is seen showing an engagement ring to the camera before heading over to his partner Erica, who is standing at the water’s edge.

Fabricio takes her hand, gets down on one knee and asks Erica to marry him.

She nods quickly and says “Yes!”, but as she steps forward to hug a cheering Fabricio, she slips on rocks under the water and falls.

The couple laugh as Fabricio also clambers into the water, with their guide Alex Lima capturing the entire incident – from November 26 – on film.

The happy couple are then filmed sitting in the water giggling about the moment and enjoying their brand new engagement.

Mr. Lima said, “They were already engaged, so I suggested they film Fabricio and propose to Erica. The couple accepted it immediately.

“But at the moment of the proposal, Erica slipped and fell. It was very funny. Everyone laughed a lot.

‘Thank God she wasn’t injured and we then moved on to other tourist attractions.’

Mr. Lima said fun things always happen on tours.

He added: ‘I’ve been working as a guide for 20 years and fun things always happen.

‘The fall was the first time. I’m glad everything went well, nothing serious.’
