Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup stir up wedding rumors as she is seen wearing a gold band on THAT finger

Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup sparked rumors that they may have tied the knot after she was spotted wearing what appeared to be a wedding ring on Friday.

The Mulholland Drive star and the Almost Famous actor, both 54, were seen arriving at a New York City apartment in photos obtained by Page sixbut Naomi looked particularly stunning in a white Oscar de la Renta dress with beautiful lace floral designs, which could have been used as a wedding dress.

But it was the gold wedding band on her ring finger — which appeared to be newly added alongside her rumored engagement ring — that had fans wondering if maybe she and Billy had tied the knot.

So far, Naomi and her new love have remained mum over rumors that they were engaged, which started flying after she appeared on the Today Show wearing a huge diamond ring on her left hand.

The pair looked especially sweet when they returned from their outing on Friday, and Naomi even stepped up the wedding secret rumors by carrying a beautiful but reserved bouquet of white roses and other matching flowers.

Naomi’s gorgeous white look was an Oscar de la Renta Sweetheart Water Lilly Guipure dress, which sells for around $5,000.

It had thick floral lace straps and the sleeveless design showed off her toned arms.

The 5ft5in beauty lifted her stature and wore a set of gold open-toe heels under her ankle-length skirt.

She completed the semi-casual summer look with thick cream cat-eye sunglasses and wore her beautiful blonde hair in a playful, wavy bob.

Billy was dressed more casually, but he still looked quite elegant.

Wearing a navy blue suit, the Watchmen actor looked sparkling with his clean-shaven face and shaggy salt-and-pepper hair that was combed back dramatically.

Billy brightened up the ensemble with a simple white shirt with no tie and classic black dress shoes.

Interestingly, he had his arms full as he carried what looked like two holdalls, one black and the other a nice red leather bag.

The addition of the holdalls did nothing to dispel rumors that the pair may have quickly hit the hook.

The British-Australian actress seems to have sparked rumors that she and Billy were engaged earlier this year, when she debuted a huge diamond with a tasteful marquise cut, along with a diamond-encrusted band.

So far, Naomi doesn’t seem to have commented on her ring, even after Today co-anchor Hoda Kotb directly referenced it during a late April appearance on the iconic morning talk show.

Near the end of Naomi’s segment, Hoda joked that his “eye hurt” from the “big glint coming out of a ring here.”

“It just caught my eye, but it’s beautiful,” she added.

Just in case there’s any doubt about her implied question, Hoda’s co-host Savannah Guthrie added, “Hoda is asking if you’re engaged.”

But Naomi simply replied, “So, the brain fog…”

Savannah went on to compliment the ring’s design, but Naomi avoided saying more about her ring, while also not outright denying that she was engaged to Billy.

So far, the Morning Show star has also avoided discussing the possible engagement.

Naomi seems to have worn the ring at least as far back as March, and she was spotted showing off the starlet on the red carpet at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in Beverly Hills.

She and Billy met on the set of her 2017 Netflix series Gypsy, in which she starred as a therapist who uses an alias to develop close (and unethical) relationships with people closely associated with her patients, while Crudup her husband played.

The costars began dating later in 2017, a year after she split from her partner of 11 years, the actor Liev Schreiber.

The friendly exes share two children: Kai, 14, and Sasha, 15.

Watts and Schreiber began their relationship in 2005, shortly after she dated the late actor Heath Ledger from 2002-2004.

Despite ending their year-long relationship, Watts and Schreiber still go to events together to support their children, and were even seen smiling together with their current partners in photos taken at Kai’s graduation.

In a 2019 interview with Porter Editshe admitted that the parents were “doing something completely different.”

“I’m quite proud of us, trite as that may sound. We have made it our absolute priority to be good and kind to each other and we are absolutely committed to that.”

Schreiber announced earlier this year that he is expecting his first child with girlfriend Taylor Neisen, who is a model.

Crudup was long infamous for terrible timing when he ended his multi-year relationship with Weeds star Mary-Louise Parker.

He divorced the actress, whom he began dating in 1996, in November 2003, when she was seven months pregnant with their son.

He then started a relationship with Claire Danes which ended in 2006.

Crudup seems to have kept all subsequent romances prior to his relationship with Watts under the radar.

Since they started dating, Naomi and Billy have kept their public appearances to a minimum and have largely avoided commenting on their relationship, though she has occasionally shared sweet photos of herself with her actor boyfriend on social media.

They waited several years to finally make their red carpet debut at the 2022 Screen Actors Guild Awards, where Billy was nominated for his role in the Apple TV+ drama The Morning Show.
