An eagle-eyed chocolate lover who had managed to get his hands on a bag posted in the Newfoodsuk Facebook group.

The message read: “Brand new Milkybar buttons with raspberry ripple ice cream. These are pretty good!

“The raspberry flavor is strong but goes really well with the white chocolate, now available from Asda.”

Other chocolate fans rushed to comment and the post quickly racked up more than 1,000 likes and 900 comments.

One person said: “I'm going to buy this this weekend.”

Another said: “These look lovely.”

While a third commented: “These are right up my alley.”

The message didn't say how much a pack of the new Milkybar buttons costs, so we looked online to find out.

Although the product is listed on the Icelandic website, it says “this product is currently unavailable” and does not display a price.

The new flavor is also not currently listed on the Asda website.

However, a 94g bag of the standard white chocolate Milkybar buttons currently costs £1.35 on the Sainsbury's website.

Just because it isn't showing up online doesn't mean it isn't on the shelves of other supermarkets, so keep your eyes peeled.

In the meantime, The Sun has contacted Nestle and will post an update here when we know more.

In the meantime, new chocolate delicacies will quickly appear on supermarket shelves in 2024.

Aldi shoppers have been rushing to buy an 'unreal' chocolate treat lately that tastes like a discontinued Cadbury snack.

Elsewhere, Cadbury fans are getting excited about a new biscuit based on an Easter favorite hitting shelves.

Asda shoppers are also rushing to buy an Easter egg based on an iconic flavour.

A limited edition chocolate bar has also been spotted on Poundland shelves this year – and it's laced with an Easter favourite.
