New Zealand girl beaten up by a gang of bullies outside McDonald’s

A young girl has been viciously beaten outside a McDonald’s restaurant after being targeted while enjoying a meal with her classmates.

The 12-year-old girl, whose family had recently moved to New Zealand, was with three of her school friends at McDonald’s Glenfield restaurant in Auckland on Saturday.

According to the victim’s sister, Rein Crystal, the group was eating and laughing, which two girls at another table mistook to be aimed at them.

“One of the girls walked up to the table and demanded an apology from my sister, thinking they were mocking her,” Ms Crystal told the NZ announces.

When the girl and her friends finished eating and left the McDonald’s, they realized they were being followed by the two girls.

The pair demanded an apology from the group before allegedly attacking Ms Crystal’s sister.

“They kicked her in the leg and pinned her to the ground before kicking her repeatedly in the face and forehead, causing her to bleed,” Ms Crystal said.

She claimed that her sister had apologized to the girls, but they still attacked her “because she had no means to defend herself.”

After being brutally beaten, the girl tearfully called her mother.

Her mother noticed something was seriously wrong and told the publication that her “hands were shaking” and she was “nervous” in her stomach.

When the family arrived on scene, they found her bleeding profusely.

She was rushed to White Cross Hospital and treated for the wounds.

Ms Crystal said her sister is “fine at the moment” but her face was still injured and swollen.

The family had only moved to New Zealand from the Philippines in August last year.

Ms. Crystal said her family had never experienced such violence in the Philippines.

“I don’t know if this is a safe place because this is the first time this has happened to our family,” she said.

The girl was allegedly attacked by two teenage girls who ‘kicked her repeatedly in the head’

The family now hopes that the perpetrators will be identified so that they can ‘talk to them and their parents’.

The police have now charged a 14-year-old girl with the alleged assault.

She is due to appear in North Shore District Court on Tuesday, charged with assault with intent to injure.

Prime Minister Chris Hipkins described the attack as horrific, completely unacceptable, and claimed New Zealand was a ‘safe country’.

He recalled seeing the photos of the girl in blood-soaked clothes at White Cross Hospital after the attack.

“I can say as a parent that any parent would be heartbroken by that photo,” he said.
