New Delhi: The Farmers Delhi Chalo protest is organized today by various farmer associations from Haryana to Delhi. Before today's protest, Section 144 has been imposed in the entire city of Delhi, on the borders of the national capital, in Panchkula and certain districts of Haryana. The borders are closed and heavy security has been deployed in the run-up to the Farmers March. Traffic advisory issued for Noida, Greater Noida

As mentioned earlier, Gautam Budh Nagar police have issued a traffic advisory for Noida and Greater Noida. The march is being organized by around 200 farmer unions and the farmers are expected to reach Delhi from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Haryana.   • If you are using the Chilla Border to go to Delhi, take the 14A Flyover to reach Section 15 Golchakkar Chowk; then head towards Sandip Paper Mill Chowk – Jhundpura Chowk – and then towards their destination.
  • Film City Flyover should be used to go towards Sector 18 and beyond, instead of DND Border while going to Delhi.
  • Commuters going to Delhi via the Kalindi border will have to take the Mahamaya Flyover to reach Sector 37.
  • Jewar Toll – Khurja and beyond through Jahangirpur, is the route to use if you are going to Delhi via the Yamuna Expressway.
  • If you are using the Peripheral Expressway to Sirsa, Parichowk to go to Delhi, your alternate route option will be towards Dadri, Dasna.
  • Amid these traffic restrictions, all emergency vehicles are allowed to travel to all destinations.

Traffic advisory from Delhi police for farmers' protest

Talking about the general advisory for Delhi, the state government has imposed Section 144 for the entire city and this will remain in force for the next 30 days. The Delhi Traffic Advisory, there are diversions for the inter-state buses using NH-44 to go to Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal etc.

Heavy trucks (lorries) are advised to use exit number 2 at NH-44 intersection to go to Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc. from Mukarba Chowk to Madhuban Chowk to Bhagwan Mahavir Road to Rithala to Pansali Chowk to Helipad to UER-II to Kanjhawala Road-Karala T-Point-Kanjhawala Chowk to Jaunti Village to Jaunti Border/Nizampur Border and enter Haryana village of Bamnoli and may proceed proceed via Nahra-Nahari road to Bahadurgarh road.”

Diversions have also been announced for cars and light trucks traveling to Sonipat, Panipat, Karnal, etc. The Delhi Traffic Advisory stated, “The cars and LGVs planning to go towards Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, etc. are suggested to take the exit from exit number -2 DSIIDC cuts towards Bawana Road to Kanjhawala T-Point to Kanjhawala Chowk via Dr. Sahib Singh Verma Road to Jhanda Chowk/Ghevra to take right Nizampur border via Savdha Village to Bahadurgarh Junction NH-9.”
