Less than a week after Emma Stone won a prestigious Golden Globe Award, the Hollywood actress has decided to put her Los Angeles home up for sale for a whopping $3.995 million.

The house was purchased by Stone in 2019 for $2.3 million, meaning the actor will be far from penniless if the property finds a buyer.

Nestled in the picturesque Comstock Hills, a suburban enclave in the city's Westwood neighborhood, the 3,276-square-foot home isn't your average celebrity compound.

The property appears to exude Stone's signature look and sees her embrace a Spanish style throughout the home, combined with pops of color and captivating patterns from the wallpaper to the ceilings.

Stone, 35, who owns property in Austin, Texas, and an apartment in New York City, used the house while she worked in LA and lived there with her husband, writer-director Dave McCrary, 38, and their daughter Louise, who is almost three.

After purchasing the house five years ago, she made some major renovations, expanding the kitchen and adding a guesthouse.

Even then, she made a conscious decision to maintain the home's original architectural details, including a charming beamed ceiling and tiled courtyard that adds a touch of old-world charm to the home.

When it comes to celebrity real estate, opulence often takes center stage, but Stone's decision to maintain the authenticity of her home's design is a refreshing move.

The plot comes complete with a newly built separate guest house with a living room, kitchen and bedroom with laundry room.

The Sotheby's listing suggests the guest structure could also be configured as a home office.

Listing agent Eric Lavey of Sotheby's International Realty thinks the house won't be on the market for long.

“The sub-$5 million category in LA, in high-demand locations, is one of the most vibrant markets,” he told the WJ.

This home immediately appears to be more of a canvas that reflects Stone's personal style and artistic sensibilities in the heart of Los Angeles.

Last year, Stone sold a mid-century home in Malibu for about $4.4 million.
