The 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris will be the first in history to offer an increased hospitality program next summer.

Paris is set to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024, a full century after the Olympics were last held in the iconic French capital – although this time it will be a debut Paralympic sports festival.

After waiting 100 years, Paris 2024 has partnered with a hospitality provider, On Location, which has come up with packages to support seven sports next summer, with sales open from October 11.

These include wheelchair basketball, para-athletics, para-judo, para-swimming, wheelchair rugby, wheelchair tennis and para-cycling track, as well as for the opening and closing ceremonies.

The opening ceremony will be the first in the history of the Paralympic Games not to take place within the confines of a stadium.

Instead, it will take place on the Champs Élysées and Place de la Concorde in the heart of the city, with a special Garden Party Hospitality Experience in the Tuileries Gardens, as well as first-class views of the traditional athletes’ parade.

Paul Caine, president of On Location and IMG Events, said: “As the official hospitality provider for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, our mission is to shape unforgettable moments that celebrate diversity and forge cherished connections.

‘The values of the Paralympic Games – courage, commitment and determination – resonate deeply with our approach.

“We are honored to contribute to this exceptional event by offering hospitality packages that reflect these core principles and creating remarkable experiences for all our guests.”

There are three different packages available to fans; guaranteed seats at the heart of the action through the Lounge Package, Fan Kit Packages and Travel Packages.

Shared Lounge packages offer fans with Category A ticket holders the chance to choose their favorite sports session with priority access.

Hospitality packages offer fans views and access to arenas such as the Roland-Garros Stadium (wheelchair tennis), the Stade de France (Para-athletics) or the Champ-de-Mars Arena (wheelchair rugby).

There will also be a variety of immersive and interactive activities taking place in the shared lounges, as well as dedicated staff escorting spectators to their reception, where guests can enjoy food and beverage service.
