Peta Murgatroyd is pregnant! DWTS alum announces she's expecting third child with husband Maksim Chmerkovskiy – months after welcoming second child
Peta Murgatroyd and her husband Maks Chmerkovskiy are expecting their third child together.
The professional dancer, 37, announced the happy news on her Instagram account on Monday.
The Dancing With The Stars alum — who welcomed her second child last year — also wrote that she, as well as her husband Maks, were “sooooo happy and so ready to be a family of five soon!”
In the clip shared to her account, Murgatroyd Facetimed her husband and let him know she was feeling sick while preparing two bottles of baby food.
The television personality then stated that she wanted to “leave Malibu and buy a bigger place” and told her husband that they needed “an extra bedroom.”

The media personality then showed her pregnancy testers to her husband, who admitted he “burst into tears” at the news.
After noting that they needed to look for a new home, Murgatroyd ended the conversation after calling her husband a “father of three.”
The dancer gave her fans some context for the call in the caption of her post, where she recalled, “It took me an hour to get the courage to call him… when he didn't understand, we all couldn't stop laughing in the kitchen.'
The television character then alluded to her previous issues with fertility, writing that she was excited about the prospect of adding another member to her family.
“After everything we have been through with miscarriages and IVF, we are beyond blessed and know that we are very lucky to have this miracle happen to us,” she said.
Murgatroyd concluded by writing, “We are so happy to finally tell you the good news.”
The dancer and her husband first started seeing each other in early 2010, and in 2017 they welcomed their first son Shai, seven.
The happy couple then tied the knot in a ceremony held in New York the following year.

Murgatroyd became pregnant several times afterward, although she miscarried each time, and she began undergoing IVF treatments.
However, she revealed that she had a natural conception in February 2023, and she shared that People at the time she was 'shocked' by the news.
The media figure added that the pregnancy had “been a whirlwind. Truly the best blessing for us.”
Murgatroyd then gave birth to her second son Rio, aged seven months, in June last year.
