But those who did manage to get their hands on the multi-function stick are now sharing their reviews – and not all of them are positive.

a video of the latest make-up collection was shared on TikTok by the Primark Beauty account, with the caption: “The new bronzing stick is in stores!”

The clip showed stacks of bronzing sticks lined up on the shelf before someone took it in their hand.

And people were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section, with one writing: “I saw it in the store today and it was like overpriced gold glitter!”

“When I saw it today it looked like gold glitter,” another agreed.

As a third said: “gold glitter….”

“I mean, if you're going for a gold robot, look gorgeous,” someone else joked.

“Why is it gold?” another wondered.

“It's literally glitter,” someone else insisted.

“I'll turn you into a C-3PO if you use it,” laughed another, referring to the beloved Star Wars character.

As someone else wrote: “Don't get scammed, it's literally Vaseline with GOLD glitter.

“It looks more like a kid's eyeshadow stick or something.”

“I was so excited but it's just gold unless I want to look like a gold coin for Easter,” mused another.

In the description on Primark's website, they say the Bronzing Stick is “part bronzer, part firm moisturizer.”

“Suitable for use all over the body, this bronzing moisturizer is designed to hydrate the skin while adding a beautiful, radiant glow,” they add.

And some people were more excited about the new product, with one person commenting on the TikTok video: “That's so gorgeous, I love the shine

“I would use this as a highlighter,” said another.

While a third said: “Necessity!”

“I went TODAY where was this, wtf,” someone else raged.

“Would look nice on the collarbone,” said another.

“Can you bring back the bronzing drops?” someone else pleaded.

To which the TikToker replied that they would be back on shelves in just three days.

There is also a blush version of the bronzing stick coming out next week.
