Princess Beatrice dressed for the cooler weather with a chic trench coat over her dress as she enjoyed a night out in New York last night.

The mother of one, 35, wore the tan coat over a navy blue dress with satin trim as she walked through Lower Manhattan late on Friday.

She completed her look with a pair of black heels and carried a matching clutch bag for the occasion, while keeping her makeup simple and her dark blonde hair around her shoulders.

The royal appeared in good spirits for her New York outing, which came days after her mother, Sarah Ferguson, called Beatrice and her sister Eugenie her “soulmates.”

The Duchess of York, 63, said her two daughters are her “biggest cheerleaders” here and praised their support since her cancer diagnosis.

Sarah discovered she had breast cancer after a routine screening and underwent a successful one-off mastectomy in June.

“My two amazing daughters are my true cheerleaders, my dedicated champions and my soulmates, and they have been as supportive as they can be, as they always are,” she shared PEOPLE.

Prince Andrew’s ex-wife also opened up for the first time about her experiences when she made her debut as Loose women panelist on November 2.

The mother-of-two was scheduled to launch the first ‘Don’t Skip Your Screening’ campaign, highlighting the importance of attending mammography appointments.

The V Foundation for Cancer Research unveiled the Sarah Ferguson V Scholar Grant for Breast Cancer Research on October 30, in honor of the Duchess.

Sarah, popularly known as Fergie, will join forces with the V Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Committee to select a research grant recipient by the end of 2024.

The project complements her commitment to supporting cancer patients, survivors and research patron of the Teenage Cancer Trust and the work of her foundation Sarah’s Trust.

The Duchess said she is excited to be working with the V Foundation’s Scientific Advisory Committee – and recently raised more than $500,000 for cancer research at their annual event in Napa.

This initiative is close to Sarah’s heart after her personal experience with breast cancer last summer.

She described the unwavering support she received from her family, including daughters Beatrice and Eugenie, whom she shares with ex-husband Prince Andrew, and her grandchildren.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are parents to Sienna, two, while Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank share August, two, and Ernest, five months.

“My grandchildren have also been spectacular healers. Joy and laughter can be powerful tools when it comes to healing,” the Duchess said.
