This W for World Wide Web 10p pays tribute to the invention of the internet by Brit Tim Berners-Lee and features a spider web design.

While it's not entirely clear how the design actually compares to the internet, we've seen these coins for £26, although prices have dropped significantly at the moment.

The highest price anyone recently paid for this coin on eBay was £6.25 on December 20 with eight bids.

Y for Yeoman Warder 10p – £10

This coin features a guard on the tail side in honor of the ceremonial guards of the Tower of London who protect the British Crown Jewels.

It ranks third on Change Checker's scarcity list.

The highest recent sale price we could find on eBay for a 2019 Y for Yeoman 10p coin was £10.39 on November 19 with five bids.

But they have previously sold for £30.

There are a total of 283,000 of these coins in circulation.

R for Robin 10p – £12

Two places lower on the August scarcity index, the R for Robin coin is still selling for more than the other 10p pieces on the market.

R for Robin has a winter snowflake background with a robin in the letter R.

That gives it an extra appearance around Christmas.

We saw a 2019 coin previously sold on eBay for £15.99, but the most recent one to sell was for £12.50 with six bids on January 29.

Yet there are more of these coins in circulation than Y for Yeoman Warder and Z for Zebra Crossing coins, with a total of 284,000.

T is for tea 10p – £4

This 10p features a boiled traditional teapot next to the letter 'T'.

It came into existence because of our country's undeniable love for the drink.

220,000 were put into circulation in 2018 and 84,000 in 2019.

The coins won't fetch you much online, one example we recently saw on eBay cost £4 with seven bids.

J is for anniversary 10p – £6

Another coin that has risen on the scarcity index is the Jubilee 10p, which is now in sixth place.

The coin was designed by Jody Clark to honor the nation's love for an anniversary celebration.

Whether it's partying in the streets or watching the event on television, Brits know how to create the occasion.

The 10p was minted in 2018 and 220,000 were issued, with a further 84,000 issued in 2019. A few months ago this coin sold for £40, but recently it sold with one bid for £5.74.

What makes a coin more valuable?
