There's an old wooden garage available to rent for £1,250 a month, and that doesn't even include the bills.
The room in Cookham Dean, near Maidenhead in Berkshire, doesn't even have a proper bedroom or a door for sleepers.
Instead, the bed goes into a nook open to the main room and reached by a ladder above the kitchen.
And with sloping ceilings, no one can stand upright in the alcove.
The garage does have its own kitchenette in the central room and a shower and toilet in an adjacent room.
But there is no refrigerator, even though it says that the room can be delivered furnished.
But the bills are likely to cost the letter another £250, bringing the total for the garage to £1,500 a month.
The special path still has garage doors at the front and a side entrance and only a few small windows to let in daylight.
Cookham Dean is popular with celebrities; TV stars Ulrika Johnson and Chris Barrie have lived there.
According to the listing, the property can have a maximum of one tenant, but no pets.
But it comes with two parking spaces.
The building is made of brick, is fully insulated and has electric heating.
The advertisement reads: “Quirky, recently renovated studio, with beautiful high ceilings, available for rental.
“Ideally suitable for one resident, with two parking spaces on site and use of the garden.”
But some potential tenants were shocked because they didn't.
One person named Ernest said, “The amount of rent is the biggest problem.”
“Dystopian,” said another rental.
Another person named Rachel said, “It's enough to cause a nervous breakdown.”
The Cookham price of £1,250 is almost half of what a north London flat without a bedroom cost.
Although the studio appears freshly painted, with a flat-screen TV and a luxury shower – amenities that all London renters on a budget will know are not standard – there isn't a bed in sight.
But a one-bedroom space in North West London is a lot cheaper at £450.
The space only has a bed and a kitchen – and the room is so small that the resident can prepare dinner while lying under the duvet.
