Astile Doherty has launched a career in tribute to Liam Gallagher.

The son of Babyshambles star Pete, 20, whose mother is Lisa Moorish, has been testing the waters by singing the Oasis rocker’s songs and on Friday he will play a gig at The Boat Yard in Leigh-on-Sea to release his songs. .

His choice of cover is intriguing, considering his half-sister Molly, 25, is the daughter of Liam, 51, meaning Astile has the perfect inside scoop.

While Astile is on stage as Liam, a resurfaced video from 1997 shows a baby-faced MTV interview with Pete, in which he queued up to buy Oasis’ third studio album Be Here Now and said: ‘Noel is a poet and Liam is a town crier’.

The rock star connections are well known, thanks to Lisa’s well-publicized conversations in the late 1990s and early 2000s with the iconic rockers, both of whom have two other children, with different mothers to each of their children.
