Rohit Sharma accesses ‘secret fashion show’ before IND vs NZ ODI World Cup 2023 semi-final
Rohit Sharma spoke about India’s team environment in the 2023 ODI World Cup ahead of the semi-final against New Zealand to be played in Mumbai on Wednesday.
New Delhi: Indian captain Rohit Sharma has said during the pre-match conference that the team had a secret fashion show after the four-wicket win over New Zealand in the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 tournament at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamsala.
The 36-year-old Indian captain spoke about the healthy atmosphere of Men in Blue in the dressing room before the Rohit Sharma-led side took on the Kane Williamson-led side in the first semi-final of the 2023 ODI World Cup at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 15.
The Indian opener also said that it is impossible to build a good environment with the help of just one or two players.
“That’s a conscious effort. We wanted to build it and we couldn’t do that with one or two players. They all did their part, including the support staff. We even had a secret fashion show in Dharamsala which luckily no one knows about,” Rohit said at the pre-match press conference.
