Russian tycoon Vitaly Robertus, 54, dies ‘suddenly’ in the FIFTH mysterious death linked to a top oil company since Putin’s invasion

YET another of Putin’s henchmen has died – making him the latest member of the Kremlin elite to die under mysterious circumstances.

Vitaly Robertus, the vice president of the Russian According to the company, oil giant Lukoil has died “suddenly” at the age of 54.

On March 13, Lukoil announced the late executive’s death in a short statement, expressing their “deep condolences.”

No details were given about the cause or circumstances.

The company said: “It is with great regret that we inform you that the company’s vice president, Vitaly Robertus, has passed away suddenly at the age of 54.”

He is the fourth director to die since the beginning of Vladimir Putin‘s war against Ukraineand the fifth prominent figure associated with the oil giant.

Robertus, an incredibly decorated director, had worked at Lukoil for more than thirty years.

The company added: “He will remain remembered as a talented leader, a versatile individual and a sympathetic comrade.

“The Lukoil team extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Vitaly Robertus.”

Robertus was also known as one of Russia’s most talented aircraft model makers.

He was an honored Master of Sports of the Russian Federation, and seven-time champion of Russia in aero modeling, as well as four-time world champion.

He was also a certified airplane and helicopter pilot.

In November, the Russian senator and war supporter said Vladimir Lebedeva Russian senator with close ties to the Kremlin died suddenly at the age of 60, after a “heart attack”.

No further details were given, but his colleagues described him as healthy and said his death came as a “deep shock”.

Lebedev had close business ties with Vladimir NekrasovThe 66-year-old chairman of the board of directors of energy giant Lukoil, who also died ‘suddenly’ in November.

Nekrasov was the third oil company executive to die since the start of the war.

Lukoil had initially demanded negotiations to end the fighting Ukrainean act that meant for Putin that the company would not be loyal to him.

Before the deaths of Lebedev and Nekrasov, Lukoil tycoon Ravil Maganov, 67, fell out of a window from the elite Central Clinical Hospital of Moscow, also known as the Kremlin Clinic, in September 2022.

There were suspicions of murder, but Maganov was in hospital due to a long-term heart problem and fell from a sixth-floor window and died on the spot.

That same morning, Putin entered the hospital to pay his last respects to Mikhail Gorbachev, the last Soviet leader, who had died the same week.

Billionaire Alexander SubbotinThe 43-year-old – also associated with energy giant Lukoil where he was a top manager – was found dead in May 2022.

One of the circulating theories is that Subbotin was poisoned by toad poison, which subsequently caused a heart attack.

In addition to all of Lukoil’s top officials, several Russian generals have been murdered since the start of the war.

Colonel General Gennady Zhidko58, was found dead of a mysterious illness after being removed from military command in August.

The news website Readovka, which is loyal to the Putin regime, reported that Zhidko had died after a “prolonged illness”.

His death was also confirmed by Khabarovsk regional governor Mikhail Degtyarev, another Kremlin loyalist.

However, no official announcement has been made yet and neither report mentions where he died.

While General Vladimir Sviridov,68, and his wife Tatyana, 72, were found in their home in the village of Adzhievsky in the Stavropol region.

The former commander of Russia’s air defenses had once criticized Vlad for allowing an air force in third place.

He demanded that Putin “create normal living conditions for young officers, but also for all military personnel, so that they can properly fulfill their service duties.”

Authorities have still not been able to determine the cause of their sudden deaths.
