‘That’s where he met my mother Leigh Taylor-Young, and about nine months later (give or take an evening or two) I was born.

‘My father became an international movie star in the early 1970s with Love Story, a decade he absolutely crushed by starring in films such as What’s Up, Doc?, Paper Moon, Barry Lyndon, A Bridge Too Far, The Main Event and The Driver.

‘He’s a Hollywood legend. Point. The growth spurt of the first name Ryan can be traced back to my father. That’s a fact.

“He was Rodney Harrington on Peyton Place 3 days a week (he was in 500 shows over 5 years) and then of course the Ryan name peaked after Love Story (the movie that saved Paramount Studios and gave my father a star on the Hollywood Walk famous).’
