Collection day Salaar Box Office Day 12: Since its worldwide release on December 22nd Salaar: Part 1 – Armistice has been a force to be reckoned with and showcases the prowess of director Prashanth Neel and the star power of Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The mega-budget entertainer rushed to an astounding global collection of Rs 650 crore, mesmerizing audiences in five languages. However, the film suffered a significant drop in collections on January 2, marking its first notable decline at the box office. Despite this dip, Salaar has maintained its momentum and is expected to continue its theatrical run till Pongal/Sankranti, taking advantage of the absence of major competing releases in multiple languages.

With an early estimated collection of Rs 7.50 crore on January 2, the 12-day cumulative revenue for Salaar stands at an impressive Rs 369.42 crore in India alone. The Telugu version recorded an occupancy rate of 20.15%, showing continued interest from the viewers. Led by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, Salaar features an ensemble cast including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Mime Gopi and Sriya Reddy, who deliver impressive performances that contributed to the film’s success.

While Salaar: Part 1 – Armistice captivating the audience, the buzz around the sequel, Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryanga Parvam, is building anticipation. Fans are awaiting further details on the filming and storyline of this highly anticipated sequel.

Salaar achieved another great record at the domestic Box Office on Monday. The movie has defeated Prison guard And Lion to become the fifth highest-grossing film of the year in India. The Rajinikanth starrer collected Rs 348 crore across its lifetime at the domestic box office. Salaarin 11 days, has crossed this number, with Rs 361.62 crore net after Monday’s collection, according to a report published on the trading website bag. It’s the biggest film for the actor in a long time, following the huge success of Baahubali 2 in 2017.

Produced by Hobale Films on a staggering budget of Rs 400 crore, Salaar has demonstrated grandeur and cemented its place as a cinematic spectacle. The film continues to make waves in the box office ocean, combining action-packed storytelling, stellar performances and a compelling story, securing its place as a monumental success in contemporary cinema.
