Selena Gomez Talks BFF Taylor Swift's Favorite Song
Selena Gomez has style when it comes to sharing which songs Taylor Swift's discography she loves most.
“'Wildest Dreams,'” Gomez, 31, shared during a SiriusXM guest DJ session on Friday, January 12 on SiriusXM Hits 1. “I think this is one of hers. If not, I mean I shouldn't say this, but I think it's one of her best songs.”
Gomez noted that the song is a single from Swift's 2014 album 1989, is “incredibly well done” throughout. “The lyrics, everything,” she said. “Just the melodies, it's one of my favorites, it doesn't matter when it comes on, I'll just let it out in whatever mood I'm in.”
While Gomez may have been able to pick a few of her favorite Swift songs, choosing the Grammy winner's top album is a different story thanks to Swift's creativity with each new record.

“I love all eras,” Gomez said during a September 2023 meeting Most requested live interview. “I think the whole idea of creating those moments for each album is very special, so I can't pick a favorite. I really loved it all.”
Gomez met Swift, 34, in 2008 when they went out on a double date with then-boyfriends Nick And Joe Jonas. The duo have supported each other every step of the way since then, from hyping each other's projects to appearing at key moments. Forming a long-lasting bond is something Swift knew was inevitable from the moment she and Gomez crossed paths.
“There has always been this quality of sisterhood [with Selena]and I don't say that in a fundamental way,” Swift shared WJ. Magazine in 2022. “I knew from the moment I met her that I would always have her back. In my life, I have the ability to forgive people who have hurt me. But I don't know if I can forgive someone who hurt her.”

Gomez channeled Swift's Folklore album for the event, while Gracie a Speak now-inspired outfit and was gifted the “Anti-Hero” artist hat during her performance of “22.”
“Thank you best friend for transporting me and my sister to your mystical, euphoric and special world,” Gomez said via Instagram after the show. “Proud to know you! I love you forever and ever.”
A few months later, it was Swift's turn to sweep Gomez off her feet when the Only Murders in the Building star released her first new song in two years, titled “Single Soon.”
“When [your] bestie is the best,” Swift wrote via her Instagram Story, praising the song “I will dance to this forever, I think.”
While performing songs on Friday, Swift wasn't the only pop princess to spotlight Gomez. In addition to Doja cat And Frank Sinatraalso featured the singer of “Lose You to Love Me”. By Ariana Grande new song, “Yes, and?”
